What is a One Time Virus Removal service?
A one-time virus removal is when one of our technicians remotely accesses your machine to diagnose and remove the infecting virus. The technician typically asks you to restart the machine and then the remote session will start. Once on your machine, our certified technician will then safely remove virus for you. He'll then reboot your machine and that's it! Once the technician remotely accesses your machine, you can either watch while the virus is removed or come back when the work is done. It's up to you.
What is Remote Assistance technology?
Remote Assistance technology allows our technician to access your machine over a secure Internet connection. You will be prompted by the technician to 'agree' to have him/her remotely access your machine. However, you still have full control of your mouse and your screen, and you can disconnect the connection at any time. It's very cool - you can sit in the comfort of your home or office and let us do all of the work for you.
Can I use this service on more than one machine?
If you purchase a one-time fix from an Advanced Tech Support, this service is eligible for just one machine. You will receive a 7-day service guarantee once the virus is completely removed! How long does the service take?
It depends on how complex the problem is on your machine as each service time varies depending on the problem that needs resolution. Most fixes take between four to six hours but some can take longer due to additional problems encountered on the computer or high customer volume. Our goal is satisfaction so it is important that we do a good job not a fast job.
